Within the vicinity of the hills of Orvieto, a city itself rich in extraordinarily beautiful artistry and surroundings, there appears Castel Vitiano, an ancient tower built in the year 1000 from which Goccia Umbra takes its creation.  This Company has been able to blend the discovery of the most ancient traditions in the growing and handling of olives, with modern technology, to keep the true flavor and fragrance of those times.  Goccia Umbra was conceived by Mrs. Marcella Patrizi upon her return to her childhood home to continue in the family tradition of land-holdings since 1862.
